Natural spalting during the aging process provided this bowl with intriguing patterns of black lines.  A variety of wood tones is also evident in this maple bowl which measures nearly six inches in diameter.  The small foot at the bottom allows the bowl to rise above the table while the inward sloped rim and slightly concave bottom invite you to explore the interior or whatever you choose to serve in this attractive piece.
