This petite bowl was hand turned from Bradford Pear sourced in Germantown, TN.  The bowl is thicker at the foot which allows it to sit solidly on the table.  It displays beautiful coloration from yellow to orange to brown to a greenish black.  The soft matte finish derives from Danish Oil and carnauba wax.  Natural drying effects have given it character by cupping the rim, yet the bottom sits flat.
