The natural color and grain of the Willow Oak wood fills the center of this classically shaped bowl.  In contrast, the rim is heavily decorated with the dark lines of spalting.  A recessed foot lifts the bowl off the table to attract attention.  The large size (10 inches in diameter) and food-safe finish allow it to move from the display case to the serving table with confidence.
