On exhibit is the largest bowl in our Gravity Well series.  The design intentionally places the contrast between the heartwood and sapwood along the smooth contour of the interior.  The wood also shows some of the dark grain lines characteristic of spalting.  Honey Locust is a very hard and durable wood.  While the bowl would be a signature piece in a display collection, the food grade materials used in finishing also lend confidence in its use as a notable serving piece.
